Our Network Infrastructure team is currently looking to fill a
Senior SQL DBA Developer
position in the Manhattan area.
Our client, a social media company based in Chelsea, Manhattan, is hiring for a
Senior SQL DBA
to join their team. Our client specializes in creating and hosting social media and e-commerce websites and provides their clients with analytics so they can continue to optimize the social media capabilities of their sites.
Candidates for this job must have experience with the following:
-6 years of experience with SQL 2000/2005
-Strong background replication, load balancing, configuration.
-troubleshooting of operational issues
-Design and implement strategies for database load and stress testing
-Research emerging technologies and new database design/deployment
approaches.
-Schema development/maintenance, operation, monitoring, performance,
availability, tuning, backup, and recovery of its application’s MS SQL
Server 2005
Candidates for this job will be responsible for the design, engineering, documentation, and support of an e-commerce and social media database. Candidates will be responsible for 24/7 support of the production environment. Candidates will also be responsible for working with developers to optimize high-volume e-commerce websites.
